However wild your mountain adventure was – the "Plitsch Platsch" laundry gets your favourite clothes looking new again. Modern washers and dryers are available right in the house.

Just 100 metres away: the Bödmen-Baad ski school with over 50 experienced instructors and the valley's largest children's area. A well-equipped ski rental is on site too.

The Steinbock trail starts right behind our house and offers over 16 km of perfectly groomed tracks – cross-country skiing in pristine nature, for beginners and advanced skiers alike.

The gentle way into the Kleinwalsertal/Oberstdorf ski area – perfect for families and beginners. Leave the car behind; the slopes start at your doorstep. Continue on to Walmendingerhorn, Kanzelwand or Ifen.

Just 300 metres towards Baad, the "Josefle" is a genuine Walser institution – a charming, traditional shop. For a wider selection there is the M-Preis supermarket in Mittelberg.

Immerse yourself in rich Walser culture and discover the regional specialities of the culinary region – from mountain dairies to award-winning kitchens, with warm hospitality all year round.

Your four-legged family members are warmly welcome – on request and for a fee of € 18 per night (without food). Please understand that pets are not allowed on beds, sofas or decorative furs.

Secure storage rooms for your ski equipment – convenient and protected. Your bikes also find a safe spot here, so you can start the day carefree. Boot dryer in the chalet.

For bookings of 3 nights or more from May to early November the mountain railway ticket is included: 8 lifts and cable cars, all bus lines free plus many further discounts across the valley. Bus stop right outside the house.
